@mlanger Make sense. I personally find value in having to reach beyond my personal blog and aggregate what I ate, books I am reading, and other things I didn't blog about.

The second week of my personal email newsletter and shifting more of my social sharing to my domain. Hope you do the same for yours so I can subscribe to your email newsletter. buttondown.com/kin-lane/archiv

@cogdog @reclaimhosting @taylorjadin @jimgroom It is like free beer tomorrow, and Reclaim.tv is always "happening".

What if the REST in Representational State Transfer wasn't about the state of the digital resource and we humans are the resource being transferred over to the state bit by bit?

This is why I write. This is why I write so much. This captures how I manage to be so prolific with my writing. This shares why using AI for my "content" does not pencil out for me. This sums up why my I invest in myAPI Evangelist work. ckarchive.com/b/wvu2hghk5m82zf

I am barely a C grade programmer. I admit it. It isn't what I am good at. Only thing I am good at is telling stories & I am only B grade on that. But, you know what? I love seeing the dependencies on the work I produce-links, references, citations to my work are 99% positive and long lived.

Audrey and I are listening to this in the evenings. It is a chillingly relevant narrative as a backdrop for what it is happening in government right now. bookshop.org/p/books/eichmann-

@ghose you are welcome. Please share any interesting other ones you find too!

I added the Atlas of AI by Kate Crawford to my list of books that have helped deprogram me from the world around me. It is a very accessible book and something I strongly recommend to anyone who is trying to understand this moment we find ourselves in. kinlane.com/deprogramming/

I won't be abandoning social media, but I will be very much limiting what I share here. To help keep friends and family up to date on my personal life I have setup an email newsletter. I encourage you to do the same, and I will happily subscribe to it. It will give you agency outside of social media, while helping your friends and family keep up with what is happening. It doesn't have to be a production or amazing work each week -- It just has to be you. buttondown.com/kin-lane/archiv

@bobmagicii agreed. it all just feels so engineered to grind us all into sausage while never respecting our skills and ability to do quality work.
