@sumisu3 We do need affordance. Thank you for noticing! I support your vision. Hoping along with you.

I am barely a C grade programmer. I admit it. It isn't what I am good at. Only thing I am good at is telling stories & I am only B grade on that. But, you know what? I love seeing the dependencies on the work I produce-links, references, citations to my work are 99% positive and long lived.

Audrey and I are listening to this in the evenings. It is a chillingly relevant narrative as a backdrop for what it is happening in government right now. bookshop.org/p/books/eichmann-

@ghose you are welcome. Please share any interesting other ones you find too!

I added the Atlas of AI by Kate Crawford to my list of books that have helped deprogram me from the world around me. It is a very accessible book and something I strongly recommend to anyone who is trying to understand this moment we find ourselves in. kinlane.com/deprogramming/

I won't be abandoning social media, but I will be very much limiting what I share here. To help keep friends and family up to date on my personal life I have setup an email newsletter. I encourage you to do the same, and I will happily subscribe to it. It will give you agency outside of social media, while helping your friends and family keep up with what is happening. It doesn't have to be a production or amazing work each week -- It just has to be you. buttondown.com/kin-lane/archiv

@bobmagicii agreed. it all just feels so engineered to grind us all into sausage while never respecting our skills and ability to do quality work.

@carpetbomberz thank you for sharing. It is a trip to think about how these moments shape us huh? They suck and can feel good.

We are so going to win this war of AI just like we won the war on drugs and terror.

This is an acceptable station and the alligator is at the center of the platform.

@vincentbiret In other topics, if you ever want to come by and talk OpenAPI, Kiota, or anything related -- even spaces, I would love to have you.

@vincentbiret Exactly. There is a lot of diversity in the space in between -- you just have to know how to look for it. ;-)

@vincentbiret It is exhilerating. You don't know what you are missing.
