Do you ancestors influence how you turn off or leave on lights around your house?

@kin Yes. From upbringing. I'm pretty vigilant about turning them off just as soon as I leave a room.

@kin @misterjoshua one of my grand parents used to say "on n'éclaire pas pour les mouches" which would roughly translate to "no need to leave the light on for the flies". And that's not even a proper French expression...

@kin @misterjoshua ah proper French expression on the topic is "c'est Versailles" which is in reference to the palace and the fact that lighting thousands of candles at night cost a fortune.
